Well, it was during this season of my life that I began to pursue the children's section of my hymnal, looking for songs I could write to sing to my daughters as I put them to bed. You know you can only sing Twinkle Twinkle so many times. But those bed times were so sweet! So I began exploring the children's section of my hymnal and there discovered the songs which will now be on I Belong to Jesus, and then some! I've been so amazed to see how many conversations the Lord has opened up as a result of singing these songs to my girls. As they hear the words and begin to process them they ask me questions. And in the answering, sometimes with confidence and sometimes stumbling around for words to say, the Lord enters in and we have had some of the sweetest moments of childhood and faith.
